You can add multiple owners to a single spreadsheet. Spreadsheets owners will be able to manage the spreadsheet, create and share Flows, and review data submissions.

How do I view my spreadsheet owners?

To view the owners of the spreadsheets you manage on Layer:

  1. Head to the "My Spreadsheets" tab.

  2. Hover over the icons in the Owners column for a spreadsheet to view the spreadsheet owners and their email addresses.

You can also view the owners for each spreadsheet separately:

  1. From the "My Spreadsheets" tab, select one of your spreadsheets.

  2. You will find the list of spreadsheet owners shown under the spreadsheet details.

How do I add an owner?

To add a new owner to one of the spreadsheets you manage on Layer:

  1. From the "My Spreadsheets" tab, select the spreadsheet you want to add the owner to.

  2. Click on "Manage owners" under the spreadsheet details.

  3. Enter the email addresses of one or more new spreadsheet owners.

  4. Click the "Send Invite" button.

  5. If the owner isn't a pre-existing Layer user, an "Invite pending" label will be shown until they create a Layer user.

How do I remove an owner?

To remove an owner of one of the spreadsheets you manage on Layer:

  1. From the "My Spreadsheets" tab, select the spreadsheet you want to add the owner to.

  2. Click on "Manage owners" under the spreadsheet details.

  3. Hit the "Revoke Access" button for the owner you would like to remove.

  4. Confirm the removal by clicking the "Yes, revoke access" button.

What will the invited owners see?

The invited owners will receive an email informing them that they were added as an owner to the spreadsheet. If they aren't pre-existing Layer users, they will also receive an invitation to join Layer.
