Happy New Year from the Layer team – we hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for the new year!
To start the new year with a bang, we revamped the Layer Sheets interface in our continuous efforts to give you more control over your data in an easier and more efficient way and introduced some of our most requested features yet.
Keep track of your changes
We introduced new Layer Sheets features to allow both spreadsheet owners and collaborators to easily track the inputs and changes.
You can easily view which cells of a data submission were changed; green for accepted, and red for rejected inputs.
Your collaborators will receive an email with the status of their accepted and rejected changes.
Manage your data easily
The Layer Sheets interface has been revamped to offer a faster and more intuitive way to preview and review your data. You can:
Navigate through the changes history of your spreadsheet.
Easily access the data submissions awaiting review.
View the activities made for a particular flow and your collaborators’ messages.
You can also collapse the changes review and activity windows to give you more room to manage your spreadsheet data.
This is only the beginning. We have many new features and improvements to look forward to, including:
Automatic sync of the collaborators’ spreadsheets with recent data changes.
Collaborators can save drafts. Then, go back and make changes to them.
Multiple collaborators can work simultaneously on the same flow.
Spreadsheet owners can leave comments during data review.
