How to connect the BambooHR integration?

To start using the BambooHR integration, you'll first need to connect it to Layer:

  1. Open your Google Sheet and launch the Layer add-on.

  2. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab.

  3. Locate the BambooHR integration and click the "Connect" button next to it.

  4. You will be redirected to the integration connection page. First, toggle the switch.

  5. Next, you'll need to enter the subdomain used to access your account (If you access BambooHR at, then the subdomain is 'mycompany') as well as the API key which can be copied from this page:

    Note: Remember to replace 'mycompany' in the URL above with your subdomain.

  6. Once you've entered the required details. Click "Save".

  7. You will receive a message indicating that the connection is ready and be redirected back to Google Sheets and Layer.

How to import BambooHR data into Google Sheets?

Once you've connected the BambooHR integration, you can start using it to easily import your employee data into Google Sheets. All you have to do is:

  1. Navigate to the "Integrations" tab.

  2. Click the "Import Data" button shown below the BambooHR integration.

  3. Select "Employee List" and click "Import". This will create a new sheet with your BambooHR data.
